Strawberries were in season and very sweet; it was fun picking and eating them as we went. The boatmen on the Yanagawa River sang songs, and the riverside scenery was decent, but the weather was great. The eel rice was delicious. Finally, we had two hours to shop at the outlet mall.
I took the Kyushu Bus from Ureshino Onsen Bus Terminal to Hakata Bus Terminal, but I couldn't figure out if the voucher could be used as a reservation ticket or if the seat was assigned, so I checked on site. There was no information on how to assign a seat, so I just bought a ticket, but it was nice to be able to make a reservation conveniently and a little cheaper~~
I highly recommend Mr. Sun. This trip was with my elderly relatives, and Mr. Sun was incredibly patient, helping them get on and off the bus, booking our Liuchuan itinerary, taking family photos along the way—every single one was beautiful! He also arranged a wonderful eel rice meal for us at noon. It was truly excellent value for money.
I didn't have high expectations for the distillery on this trip, but it turned out to be my favorite part. The distillery's sake was not only delicious but also offered unlimited tastings. The staff were very patient and confident in their homemade sake. Even though I don't usually drink, I couldn't resist buying several bottles and some rice wine. The tour leader was very enthusiastic in introducing the sights, and for lunch, we had a famous set meal of various hot spring tofu dishes. Although this trip was a bit off the beaten path, the overall experience was very comfortable because there were few people. I might want to try this trip next time!
Our group of 12 friends was advised by customer service to rent an 18-seater minibus. We could easily fit all our luggage in, and there were still seats available for thick coats and bags, making for a comfortable three days. The best part was the driver's professionalism and friendliness; he spoke fluent Mandarin and was patient with the young children. It started snowing on the first night, and some roads were closed the next morning, requiring us to change our plans. The driver helped us call nearby indoor attractions to check if they were open, and we finally found a monkey theater where the children played in the snow – it was cold but fun!
The driver contacted us the day before our airport pickup. He speaks Chinese, so communication was seamless. The car he brought was large and very comfortable. We'll definitely use this airport transfer service again next time we're in Fukuoka. Great service!
Our family went on a day trip by chartered car, from Yufuin to Mount Aso, and then to Kumamoto. The driver was very helpful, and the car was comfortable. Highly recommended!
Two weeks before departure, the company created a group chat so we could contact the driver. The day before, we informed them that my mother had difficulty walking, and the company specially upgraded us to a larger vehicle. Throughout the trip, the driver's driving skills were smooth, and he had a great understanding of Japanese geography and customs, providing excellent analysis and sharing. The journey was very smooth, and he managed the travel time perfectly. It's definitely a chartered car service highly recommended!
The tour was very informative, and we saw exquisite porcelain and one of the world's top five libraries. The tour guide was very friendly, and the driver was an excellent driver.
