I borrowed a bike at 10 a.m. and leisurely toured the city before riding to Naminoue Shrine to pay my respects. I also took photos of the entire shrine from the bridge and met a local gentleman who spoke excellent Taiwanese. Although he was 82 years old, he was still very healthy and liked to chat with tourists from Taiwan in Taiwanese. In the afternoon, I spent almost an hour riding to Senaga Island to enjoy the sunset and exotic scenery. Luckily, the electric scooter had power to help me, otherwise my legs would have been too tired to pedal!
