Kanazawa has many museums, and I don't think it's necessary to combine them with the on-site shuttle bus ticket. I think choosing just one is enough, since the museums are clustered nearby. You need to take the shuttle bus four times to break even, and I only managed three times, and even then, I had to wait patiently. It's better not to be tied to the shuttle bus. If you buy this pass, don't queue for the shuttle bus at Kanazawa Station. You might think you're saving money, but if you don't get to the fourth ride, you've lost 170 yen. It's better to buy individual tickets for more bus numbers to choose from and avoid the shuttle bus. At most, you'll only need to take three rides, which will cost an average of 10 yen more per ride than the discounted single-trip ticket, and you'll have more time and bus options.
I looked at many car rental services before deciding which one to choose, and this plan seemed great! Communication during the trip was excellent, and the journey was very comfortable! Driver Yao was a very steady driver and very polite! Highly recommended!
This was the perfect season! The Gassho-zukuri village, Takayama, and Kanazawa's autumn leaves turning red were breathtaking. The entire valley along the way was a stunning display of red, orange, yellow, and green against the blue sky—truly beautiful. The itinerary was well-planned and efficient, especially the professional tour leader and responsible driver. All group members were punctual. Thumbs up! 👍 *The only downside was the hotel in Kanazawa was very small, and the toilet bowl was uncleaned and had urine stains—poor hygiene. (Hotel rating: 1 star; breakfast was okay.)
