Dania Beach: Lobster Hunt Excursion for Certified Divers｜United States

Join a guided Lobster Hunt in the warm waters of South Florida and add a hands-on goal to your scuba dive: finding and legally catching Florida spiny lobster. Starting from Aquaman Diving in Dania Beach, you’ll gear up with the right tools and head to one of the area’s beach-access dive sites (final location confirmed on the day to match conditions and visibility).

Choose the experience that fits your schedule. The shore option is an approximately 2-hour outing designed for certified Open Water divers who want an exciting beach dive with a purpose. Prefer heading offshore? Upgrade your beach dive to a boat dive for an additional fee and extend your time on the water with an approximately 4-hour excursion.

Your guide will brief you on local regulations, safe handling, and proper measuring before you enter the water. Once submerged, explore reef terrain while scanning ledges and crevices for lobster. You’ll use provided lobster gear—such as a snare/tickle stick, gloves, landing net, and sizing gauge—to make responsible catches and keep them secure in the provided cooler while you continue the hunt.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled start time so you can be fitted with gear and reach the day’s best beach access point on time. After the dive, you’ll leave with new hunting skills, a deeper appreciation for Florida’s marine life, and (if you’re successful) your catch to enjoy later.
