Product Info

Begin your tour by ascending the Cordonata staircase, just as Renaissance visitors once did. Take in Michelangelo's masterfully balanced square and its geometric paving. See the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius, one of the only bronze statues to survive from antiquity.

Learn how this hilltop went from an ancient temple complex to the political and civic heart of Rome, a role Palazzo Senatorio (Rome's city hall) still holds today. Enjoy sweeping views over the Roman Forum and the city below.

Perfect for travelers who want to see Michelangelo's genius on full display without an entry ticket, this masterpiece is a public square, open to everyone, and one of the most photogenic stops in the historic center.
