Product Info

Explore the atmospheric streets of Kazimierz, once the centre of Jewish life in Kraków, and discover how Jewish and Christian traditions shaped the district over centuries. With a licensed local guide, gain insight into community life, faith, and cultural heritage before continuing to Schindler’s Enamel Factory to explore the exhibition “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945” and the story of Oskar Schindler.

Begin in Kazimierz, one of Kraków’s most evocative districts. Walk along Szeroka Street, the historic heart of the area, surrounded by synagogues and townhouses dating from the 16th–18th centuries.
You will see the Old Synagogue (now a museum), the Remuh Synagogue and Cemetery, the Kupa Synagogue, and the Tempel Synagogue. The walk concludes at Plac Nowy, a lively square reflecting the district’s present-day character.
Your guide will explain the traditions, daily life, and historical importance of Kraków’s Jewish community.

Continue to Schindler’s Enamel Factory, today one of Kraków’s most significant historical museums. With your guide, explore the exhibition “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945.”
Through archival photographs, personal belongings, and reconstructed interiors, the museum presents life under occupation. Within this broader context, you will learn how Oskar Schindler protected more than a thousand Jewish workers, placing his actions against the backdrop of persecution and deportations.
The exhibition combines historical documentation with immersive design, creating a powerful and reflective experience.

This experience connects the rich Jewish heritage of Kazimierz with the wartime history presented at Schindler’s Factory, offering a meaningful perspective on faith, resilience, and individual courage.
