Product Info

Meet in front of the Leopold Museum, 1070 Vienna.
Tour of the 4th and 3rd floors floor - or a special exhibition
Duration: 1.5 hours

Elegant and radical: Klimt and Schiele are the stars of Viennese Modernism. The Leopold Museum also showcases (mostly) Austrian artists in special exhibitions. You can customize the highlights tour on the 4th and 3rd floors floor or go through the special exhibition with me
I'll share the biggest secrets about Klimt, Schiele, and their colleagues. We'll chat about KLIMT's style and why his paintings are so pricey. Do you already know how many kids Klimt had - and which one inherited his talent? The WIENER SECESSION is just as much a topic as the WIENER WERKSTÄTTE The next generation, led by KOKOSCHKA, GERSTL, and SCHIELE, shook up art with their radical ideas: they swapped elegance for experimentation, replaced flowing harmony with radicalism, and turned the earthly paradise into a fall scene. World War I brought about the most radical changes, as the most important representatives of Viennese Modernism died at its end.
