Product Info

Explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales on this day tour from Windermere. Drive through the glorious landscape that makes the Dales truly iconic. You'll depart the Lake District and make your way to the market town of Sedbergh, this makes a great stop to grab a coffee before you head on into the rolling Dales.

You'll enjoy the scenic drive through the landscape, enjoying the unspoilt views within the national park. Continue through Wensleydale to the medieval Bolton Castle. The 14th century fortress was famously home to the imprisoned Mary, Queen of Scots for six months in 1568. Here you'll be able to enjoy a walk around the charming castle gardens.

We continue our journey up the valley to the spectacular Aysgarth Waterfalls, which is famous for an appearance in the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

From here we make our way to Hawes for a stop at the creamery where you can sample the delicious cheese, a favourite with TV characters, Wallace and Gromit.

This day tour makes the perfect escape for the day, exploring Yorkshire’s beauty and heritage.
