Munich Residence Tour: Historical Highlights & Storytelling with Peter｜Germany

The Power Center of Munich – Old Town Tour with Peter, followed by an individual visit to the Residenz!

On this walking tour, we will explore the Old Town around the Residenz together – the historic center of power from which the House of Wittelsbach provided dukes, electors and kings for centuries. With me as your guide, you will experience the squares, courtyards and alleys where politics, representation and the city's history converge directly. I will show you how a medieval complex developed into a European center of power and what traces of this remain visible today – in the cityscape, in the facades and in the stories that surround the Residenz.

After the Old Town tour, which is limited to a maximum of 10 people, I will give you your audio guide for the Residenz and let you in. If it's busy, we can skip the line!
Since guided tours are not allowed inside, you will then explore the Residenz and its magnificent rooms on your own. The audio guide will lead you safely through the rooms and provide you with all the background information, while you set your own pace. The tour thus combines a lively guided tour of the Residence and the city to set the scene outside with an individual, in-depth look at the Residence itself.
