— What You Can Expect —

Embark on a journey from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to experience the best of Australia's South Coast. This iconic 150-mile stretch offers stunning views of the Bass Strait, with opportunities to see lighthouses, remarkable natural rock formations, and pristine beaches.

The adventure begins in Torquay, a famous surf town with sandy shores. Take a moment to enjoy the beach before continuing your trip through charming coastal villages. Arrive at Kennett River, known for its large koala population, where you can spot these adorable creatures in their natural habitat.

Next, make your way to Apollo Bay, a delightful seaside town, where you'll have time to grab lunch (at your own cost) or simply unwind before hitting the road again. Then, head to Great Otway National Park for a stroll through a lush rainforest surrounded by towering ash trees.

Continue your exploration to Port Campbell National Park, where the coastal landscape reaches new heights. Here, witness the breathtaking Twelve Apostles, a collection of limestone pillars rising dramatically from the sea, as well as the magnificent Gibson Steps (time permitting), offering panoramic views of the rugged coastline.

Along the way, uncover the rich and tragic history of the Great Ocean Road, once a dangerous passage for ships navigating into the port of Melbourne. Hear gripping stories about Australia’s 'Shipwreck Coast' as you visit Loch Ard Gorge, the site of the infamous 1878 shipwreck.

On the return trip to Melbourne, stop for dinner (at your own cost) before enjoying a comfortable ride back to your hotel. Share your day's experiences with loved ones using the coach’s free onboard Wi-Fi.
