Product Info

Begin your adventure with a thrilling jeep safari or canter ride through one of the park’s designated zones, each with its own unique charm, wildlife, and ecosystem. The main zones include Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Garjia, and Durga Devi.

Dhikala Zone is the largest and most popular, known for its breathtaking landscapes, open grasslands, and frequent tiger sightings. Bijrani Zone boasts thick forests and picturesque meadows, perfect for spotting elephants, deer, and exotic bird species. Jhirna and Dhela Zones are open throughout the year and are great for observing sloth bears, wild boars, and diverse flora. Durga Devi Zone, nestled in the hilly terrains, offers mesmerizing views of the Ramganga River and is a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Accompanied by an expert naturalist guide, journey deep into the wilderness in a 4x4 open gypsy, following fresh pugmarks, listening to alarm calls, and scanning the dense foliage for movement. The safari typically lasts 3 to 4 hours, with morning and evening slots that reveal different moods of the jungle — the golden glow of dawn, the vibrant calls of waking birds, and the dramatic silhouettes of wildlife against the setting sun.

Jim Corbett National Park is a living mosaic of habitats. Its lush greenery, fed by the Ramganga River and seasonal streams, sustains an extraordinary array of life. The Royal Bengal Tiger reigns supreme here, but visitors can also encounter Asian elephants, leopards, Himalayan black bears, sambar and chital deer, gharial crocodiles, and the agile langurs and rhesus macaques.

For bird enthusiasts, Corbett is a dream come true. The park’s avian diversity includes great hornbills, crested serpent eagles, kingfishers, parakeets, drongos, and barbets. During winter, the park attracts countless migratory birds from as far as Central Asia and Siberia, making it a top destination for birdwatching tours.

Flora in Corbett is equally captivating. From tall Sal trees and lush ferns to flowering shrubs and riverine vegetation, the park’s ecosystem is a vital refuge for countless species. The ever-changing hues of the forest — emerald in monsoon, golden in summer, and russet in winter — ensure that no two safaris are ever the same.
