Chinatown Food Tour - Chicago｜United States

Your journey begins with appetizers at a restaurant renowned for its dim sum—often described as Chinese tapas. These bite-sized dishes, served in small plates, are among the most beloved Chinese foods worldwide and offer a perfect introduction to the flavors ahead.

After dim sum, you’ll explore the neighborhood through fascinating stories of iconic community landmarks, including the former On Leong Merchants Association Building, the Nine Dragon Wall, and the Chinatown Gate. Along the way, you’ll gain deeper insight into the history, culture, and spirit of the local Chinese community.

One of the most famous Chinese dishes in the world is Peking duck, a celebrated luxury delicacy in China. At your next stop, you’ll enjoy Peking duck alongside several classic stir-fried entrées. As you dine, your guide will explain the meticulous preparation process behind this iconic dish and what makes it such a symbol of celebration and refinement in Chinese cuisine.

Before dessert, you’ll step into a cozy candy shop to sample a variety of Asian sweets. This is also a great opportunity to pick up unique treats for friends and family with a sweet tooth. Your next culinary stop features tender, flavorful BBQ pork at a well-known neighborhood barbecue restaurant. Afterwards, you’ll visit Zodiac Square, where you can learn about your Chinese zodiac sign and its cultural meaning.

The tour concludes at our dessert destination, where you’ll experience the growing buzz around Asian desserts. We’ll finish on a delightful note with a matcha crepe cake—a light, layered, and irresistibly delicious finale we’re confident you’ll love.
