This 1839 Greek Revival mansion has always been a symbol of grandeur during an era of unimaginable wealth. But there is much more to her story. Extensive research by the Friends of Oak Alley Foundation has revealed the lives and legacies of the many people who have called Oak Alley home.

Then it’s a short ride to the Manchac Swamp where you will cruise through a privately-owned wildlife refuge, in a comfortable, covered pontoon boat driven by a local captain.
