Your visit includes the historic Magnolia house tour and the From Slavery to Freedom tour, which shares the important history and stories of the enslaved people who lived and worked on the property.

At 11:30 AM, guests may choose between two memorable experiences. The Nature Train tour takes you through Magnolia’s beautiful wetlands and forests while guides share insights about the landscape, wildlife, and history of the plantation. Alternatively, guests may choose the Wildlife Boat Tour, a relaxing cruise along the Ashley River where you can observe Magnolia’s wildlife up close. The boat tour is a great way to see alligators, herons, egrets, anhingas, coots, and other marsh-dwelling creatures. Keep your eyes open for ospreys, hawks, and other birds of prey, and you may even spot one of Magnolia’s resident bald eagles fishing along the river.

Guests will also have time to explore Magnolia’s famous romantic-style gardens and scenic grounds between guided experiences.
