Our first destination is the very brink of the American Falls. Perched at the top of the mainland, you will feel the rush of the river as it prepares for its 180-foot drop. From here, you’ll catch your first glimpse of the massive Horseshoe Falls in the distance—a spectacular "tease" of the beauty yet to come!

Next, we navigate to one of the most unique spots in the park: Luna Island. This small, natural island is wedged perfectly between the American and Bridal Veil Falls. It is our favorite stop for a reason—the views and photo opportunities here are profound. Standing on Luna Island, inches away from two different waterfalls simultaneously. It is a sensory experience where you can feel the vibration of the earth and the mist of the gorge in a way few other visitors ever do.

As we cross the historic bridges to Goat Island, the "crown jewel" of the state park, we enter a lush natural nursery. Here, we’ll visit the monument to Nikola Tesla, the man whose genius harnessed the power of Niagara to light the world. You'll learn how the "War of Currents" was won right here on these banks, changing human history forever.

Prepare yourself for the main event at Terrapin Point. You are looking at the Horseshoe Falls—the largest and most powerful of the three waterfalls. Approximately 90% of the Niagara River surges over this crest. At Terrapin Point, you stand at the closest possible vantage point to the brink. Witness the emerald-green depths of the water and listen to the "Thunder of the Waters" as the sun begins to set, casting a golden glow over the mist.
