Product Info

Depart from Medina and head to Badr. Pass by the Ali (RA) Mosque and the Hijaz Railway Station on the way. In Badr, make your first stop at Al Rawha Well, a mystical well near Ar-Rawha Valley where numerous historic events have taken place in the past.

Learn how the well’s water was once salty, bitter, and unfit to drink. When Prophet Mohammad heard this, he spat into the water, making it drinkable ever since that day. Next, visit the Masjid al-Ghazalah. Also known as Al-Musayjeed, this is where Prophet (SAW) stopped with the Sahabah on the way to the Battle of Badr. They prayed salah where the ruins of this mosque now stand.

Continue to Jabal al Malaika, located next to Katheeb al-Hannan. It is from this mountain that the angels came to assist the Prophet (SAW) and the Sahabah during the Battle. Then, head to the Badr Battlefield. The battle of Badr was the most important and the first major battle the Muslims fought. The Muslim army, which numbered around 313, faced an army of 1,000 of the Quraysh. Through the help of Allah, the Muslims emerged victorious.

Pass by Badr Martyrs Cemetery, which shows the plot of land where the fourteen Sahabah who were martyred in the Battle of Badr are buried. Then, visit the Masjid Al Arish, built on the site where the tent of the Prophet (SAW) was pitched during the Battle of Badr. The battle was directed from here. Before returning to Medina, pass by the Wadi Seer (valley) and the Grave of ʿUbaydah ibn Muttalib.
