Wait for the pick-up at your accommodation in Dahab Town to catch a flight to Luxor in the early hours of the morning and head straight to your first stop of the day, the Valley of the Kings. Enter three of its 63 royal tombs and then take in the ancient Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the staggering Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues of equally monumental size.
