Notice: The Hall of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum (including the Golden Mask and Golden Sarcophagus) will be closed from 20 October 2025 as the collection is being transferred to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, however, remains rich with exceptional treasures, including the mummies and the gilded mummy mask of Yuya and Thuya—among the most spectacular ever found in the Valley of the Kings—remarkable for their extraordinary preservation and lifelike features
