Begin your morning with convenient pick-ups from Canmore or Banff. Settle into a comfortable, spacious vehicle and enjoy a small-group experience along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway, a quiet route through forested landscapes known for wildlife sightings. Along the way, your guide shares stories about the region’s history, ecology, and wildlife, with a short stop at Morant’s Curve to stretch your legs, take in mountain views, and sip a coffee or tea.

Your first destination is Moraine Lake, where arriving early means fewer crowds and a peaceful atmosphere. Watch the morning light illuminate the iconic turquoise waters as your guide leads you to the Rockpile for panoramic views and the best photo spots. You’ll have up to two hours to explore at your own pace—canoe on the lake, wander the shoreline, or simply take in the serenity. Your belongings can remain safely in the vehicle while your driver waits nearby.

Next, continue to Lake Louise. After helpful tips from your guide, enjoy another two hours to explore. Walk the lakeshore trail or escape the crowds on the Fairview Lookout hike, which rewards you with a stunning elevated view of the lake and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Your guide is always available for photos, questions, or recommendations.

For those in Banff, please be prepared for pick-up 30 minutes after the specified time, as travel from Canmore to Banff requires approximately 30 minutes.

  • Know in advance:This is a small-group experience limited to 13 participants

  • Children under the age of 6 weighing 18 kg (40 lbs) or less must be secured in an appropriate child safety seat. If possible, kindly bring your child's safety seat.
