-What you can expect-
After you have been picked up from the meeting point, you'll travel out into the wilderness to enjoy a walk among 300 reindeer (with the opportunity to feed them too).

Enjoy a hot drink around the fire inside a warm, candlelit "gamme" (traditional Sami hut) while dinner is being prepared for you.

After you can relax and enjoy a traditional three-course meal, followed by the sounds of Joiking (songs), Sami history and plenty of interesting and educational stories.

On a clear night, you might even be lucky enough to catch the majestic northern lights.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Meet your guides 20 minutes before tour start time at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset. There are two entrances. One is by the buses and one is between the Terminal and the Clarion Edge. The guides will wait for you by the buses ready to depart to camp. If you go to the wrong entrance, walk through the terminal to the other entrance and you will find the guides there. The guides will be wearing blue jackets with the logo 'Tromso Arctic Reindeer' on them.(Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø, Norway)

  • Remember to bring:please bring with you at least two layers of warm clothing, hat, mittens and winter boots
