Upon meeting your guide in Sälen, you will learn how to drive a snowmobile and you will get a helmet for safety. You will then be guided up on the mountains for a thrilling ride.

Halfway through the trip you will stop for a short pause in a cosy cabin in the mountain where you can get a cup of hot chocolate or a waffle.

  • Meeting point description: You can park your car at the big parking lot by Högfjällshotellet then walk towards the slopes to reach the Skistar shop. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour.(Skistar shop at Högfjällshotellet, Fjällvägen, 780 67 Sälen, Sweden)

  • To drive a snowmobile you need to be at least 15 years old and have a driver's license for a moped

  • It is possible to book a snowmobile sled for up to 2 adults for those who do not have a driver's license

  • Tours are adjusted to ensure they suit every weather condition

  • Dress for a cold experience; avoid cotton socks and always wear gloves, if its windy bring a balaclava or thinner beanie

  • Dress for a day in the slopes but wear boots with high shafts instead of ski boots

  • This tour is accessible for those with limited mobility

  • Please bring cash for the coffee stop because cards are not always accepted
