Gran Canaria's Atlantic waters are known for dolphin presence year-round due to abundant food and oxygenated currents. While sightings are frequent, the warmer months from May to October often offer calmer seas, which can make spotting dolphins slightly easier and more comfortable for cruisers. However, successful sightings are possible in any season.
The Dolphin Safari Cruise Gran Canaria offers a specific option called "Dolphin Safari & Swim." This cruise combines the two-hour dolphin search with an additional swim stop, allowing guests to enjoy the ocean. It's important to note that the swim stop is separate from the dolphin sighting experience, and direct swimming with wild dolphins is not part of the tour.

While specific times can vary, morning departures are often favored for potentially calmer waters, and afternoon cruises can offer beautiful light.
