From Como: Bellagio, Varenna & Brunate Funicular｜Italy

Depart from Como on a scenic shared speedboat tour across Lake Como, combining famous lakeside villages, iconic villas, movie locations, and panoramic viewpoints.

Cruise along the lake and admire some of its most beautiful landmarks from the water, including elegant villas, historic residences, and charming villages. One of the highlights of the route is Villa del Balbianello, one of Lake Como’s most famous villas, known worldwide as a filming location for Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and James Bond: Casino Royale. From the boat, enjoy one of the best views of this iconic villa and its dramatic lakeside setting.

Continue to Bellagio, the “Pearl of Lake Como”, where you will have around 40 minutes of free time to explore independently, walk through its picturesque streets, take photos, or enjoy the lakefront.

After Bellagio, continue by boat to Varenna, one of the most romantic villages on the lake. Enjoy another 40-minute free stop to discover its colorful houses, small alleys, panoramic walkways, and charming lakeside atmosphere.

During the cruise, also admire highlights such as Nesso, Isola Comacina, Villa Cassinella, Villa Oleandra, and other beautiful lakeside views before returning to Como.

The boat tour starts and ends at the same meeting point in Como. After returning, you can independently reach the Como–Brunate funicular station, located about 50 meters away on foot. Your ticket includes access to the funicular ticket, allowing you to skip the ticket office line. Please note that boarding the funicular may still require waiting in the regular queue with other passengers who already have a ticket.

Once in Brunate, enjoy free time at your own pace and admire panoramic views over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains.
