The geography of Anatolia has been subject to many invasions and migrations throughout history.
Being surrounded by seas on three sides, having easy connections between Europe and Africa by sea and land, having fertile soil, favorable climate conditions and abundant water resources, Anatolia has become the cradle of civilizations.
The first traces of civilization in Anatolia have been encountered in archaeological findings in central and eastern Anatolia. In the light of these findings, one of the first civilizations of Anatolia is the Hittites.
In this trip, we will introduce you to the first cities of the Hittites, the large monumental structures they built, the civilization they established and the written and unwritten sources that have survived to the present day.
