Product Info

Embark on a scenic full-day adventure through Austria’s most breathtaking landscapes, charming villages, and cultural gems. This curated experience blends nature, history, and locations from the movie Sound of Music! Giving you a complete taste of the country in just one day.

Begin your journey in the picturesque Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its rolling vineyards and medieval villages. If the weather is nice, stop in the quaint town of Dürnstein, where you’ll enjoy a guided walk followed by free time to explore the charming streets and local shops.
You’ll also have the opportunity to taste a fine local wine from the renowned Wachau region, known for its exceptional quality and rich winemaking tradition.

Visit the Melk Abbey, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, perched dramatically on a hill above the Danube River. It’s one of Austria’s most important cultural and historical landmarks. See the Abbey Church, the Marble Hall, the Library, the Panoramic Terrace, and the Gardens (seasonal).

Next visit Hallstatt is a UNESCO World Heritage village in Austria's Salzkammergut region, famous for its stunning lakeside setting against the Alps. Hallstatt, a tiny UNESCO-listed village of about 780 residents, boasts over 7,000 years of salt-mining history, giving its name to the Iron Age Hallstatt culture (800-400 BC).

Next visit a church in Anger, Germany just across the border near Salzburg , built in 1447 from regular Nagelfluh stone blocks, it features a mix of hall and aisle church design with rib, net, and star vaults, onion-domed tower for striking landscape views.

Finally, arrive in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and a filming location for The Sound of Music. See the Mirabell Gardens, Mozart’s Birthplace, Getreidegasse, Salzburg Cathedral, Residenzplatz, and Mozartplatz.
