Product Info
Rheinfelden, the beautiful small town in the canton of Aargau, has a lot to offer. Especially the old town inspires with its baroque facades and picturesque alleys. Rheinfelden is the oldest Zähringer town in Switzerland. On this tour you can explore the old town of Rheinfelden in detail and discover hidden treasures. In the courtyard of the town hall you will meet your group or other participants (depending on booking) and your guide. Guided by a local guide, you will set off on a 1.5-hour discovery tour through the town
The historic city hall offers former court and market arbors, graves of historical persons, statues and wonderful works of art and is one of the greatest highlights of the city. The courtyard delights with paintings from the early 20th century and shows historical events of the city.
The carillon in the "Rumpel" shows you why the goat (in Swiss German "Geiss") is the ultimate mascot of the city. Live goats are also visited on the tour and are a particular delight to young participants. St. Martin's Church, which is an unspeakable 1000 years old, is also one of Rheinfelden's most beautiful sites. The Christian Catholic church shows a wide variety of architectural styles and is also called the "treasury of the Fricktal"
