— What You Can Expect —

Setting off from your hotel by motorbike with locals, after crossing over the Cam Kim bridge to Cam Kim Commune, you will ride to Mr. Huynh Ri’s ancient house, which is more than 100 years old. You'll take a visit and talk to Mr. Huynh about the house and his carpentry career.

Hop on the motorcycle and head to Kim Bong carpentry village and visit Mr. Huynh’s carpentry workshop. Moving on to the place where basket boats are made, you will stop to watch ship construction and join a local to experience how to weave a basket boat. The following stop is a mat-weaving place; join a local family to learn how to weave a reed mat.

The last stop will be at a wet rice paper maker. Join a local family to learn how to make wet rice papers and try some “Banh Dap.” You will return to Hoi An via the Cam Kim Bridge and visit Madam Van's Van Food & Drinks for lunch.
