Participants aged 14 to 17 may also join, but they must have parental consent and a signed waiver.
Individuals up to 50 years old is not encourage to join, however subject to participate depends on few conditions (physically fit, not pregnant (for women), and do not have back problems.)
The Boracay UFO Ride offers an exhilarating experience where you hold on tight to an inflatable spaceship. This unique adventure involves being pulled by a speedboat across Boracay's waves, allowing you to enjoy dynamic movements and splashes. Participants can take in the stunning views of the sky, sea, and sand from a fresh perspective while feeling secure with professional equipment and assistance from a friendly coordinator throughout the activity.
Beyond the exciting UFO Ride, Boracay offers a wide array of popular water activities. Visitors can enjoy parasailing for breathtaking aerial views, explore the underwater world through snorkeling or helmet diving, or try more thrilling options like jet skiing and banana boat rides. Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are also great choices for a more relaxed water experience.
Boracay provides several engaging land-based activities for those seeking a break from the water. You can explore the island's scenic trails with ATV rides or buggy tours, offering adventurous routes and panoramic viewpoints. Another popular option is horseback riding along the beaches or through the island's interior. Additionally, visitors often enjoy relaxing massages on the beach, exploring local markets, or simply unwinding at beachfront cafes and restaurants.
Getting around Boracay is convenient with several local transportation options. The most common are electric tricycles, which are widely available and can take you to most destinations across the island. These are often shared rides but private hires are also an option. For shorter distances, walking is popular, especially along the main White Beach path. Some resorts may also offer shuttle services for their guests.
Currently, traditional ride-hailing applications like Uber are not available on Boracay island. While Grab is widely used in other parts of the Philippines, its services for on-demand rides are typically not active for local transportation within Boracay itself. Visitors primarily rely on the local electric tricycles for getting around the island, which are plentiful and can be hailed directly.
To reach Boracay island from Caticlan Jetty Port, travelers typically take a short boat ride. After arriving at Caticlan Airport (MPH), a quick land transfer (often by tricycle or van) will take you to Caticlan Jetty Port. From there, you'll board a short ferry or speedboat to Boracay's Cagban Port. Upon arrival at Cagban Port, local electric tricycles are readily available to transport you to your specific accommodation on the island.
The ideal time to visit Boracay for water activities, including the thrilling UFO Ride, is during the dry season, which generally runs from November to May. During these months, Boracay experiences sunny weather, calm waters, and less rainfall, making conditions perfect for enjoying all sorts of water sports. The peak season typically falls between December and April, offering the most favorable conditions for outdoor activities.
