The Tamagawa Fireworks Festival commemorating Kawasaki's municipal organization is a historic fireworks festival that began in 1929 to commemorate the establishment of Kawasaki's municipal system. Every year, it features Star Mine and a collaboration of music and fireworks called "Hana Vision." In recent years, the festival has become even more spectacular as it has been jointly held with the Tamagawa Fireworks Festival in Setagaya Ward on the opposite shore.
This year, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the city's incorporation, we will hold the following tournament with more content than previous years.
1 Date and time: Saturday, October 5, 2020, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (cancelled due to stormy weather)
2 Launch location: Tama River riverbed (National Route 246 (old road) between Futakobashi and Daisan Keihin Road)
