Departing Brisbane, you’ll travel south into the rolling hills of New South Wales before indulging in an incredible beachside dining experience in Coffs Harbour. Meander through the historic vineyards of the Hunter Valley or explore beautiful Port Stephens by land or sea, before heading towards regional Victoria and Melbourne.
Enjoy a mixture of relaxing time on train and immersive Off Train Experiences, as you journey toward your final destination of Adelaide.

- — Brisbane and Coffs Harbour —
- After setting off from Brisbane, enjoy lunch on board and a relaxing afternoon settling in to your private cabin before arriving at the coastal town of Coffs Harbour
- As the sun dips beneath the horizon, enjoy a unique beachside dinner where you'll feast on local produce and fresh seafood matched with fine wines, while the waves lap at the shore nearby
- After a few leisurely hours, you'll reboard the train and set off for the night
2 Day
- — Hunter Valley, Newcastle Or Port Stephens —
- Start the day with a hearty breakfast on board before setting off for a full day of Off Train Experiences. Today you get to choose your own adventure with your choice of the: Hunter Valley, Newcastle or Port Stephens
- 01) Hunter Valley Wine Region: Meander through the picturesque and historic vineyards of the Hunter Valley, where you can sample wines from both world-renowned brands and boutique cellar doors. Your day will include cellar door experiences and a sumptuous lunch (low intensity)
- 02) Port Stephens by Land: Experience the impressive Stockton Bight Sand Dunes and beach by 4WD van, stopping to hunt for pipis and driving to the top of a sand dune to take in the incredible views. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed lunch before heading back to the train in the afternoon (low intensity)
- 03) Port Stephens by Sea: Enjoy the stunning views of Port Stephens with a relaxed morning of sailing on the water and the chance to spot dolphins along the way. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed lunch before heading back to the train in the afternoon (low intensity)
- 04) Newcastle Explorer: Discover the vibrant mix of old and new in the beautiful coastal city of Newcastle with a fun and informative two-hour guided walking tour before lunch.In the afternoon enjoy an hour of free time by the beach or in town (moderate intensity)
- In the evening, return to the train to enjoy a regionally-inspired meal prepared on board before retiring for the night

- — Regional Victoria or Melbourne —
- After enjoying breakfast on board as you travel through Victoria's high country, you'll have a choice of Off Train Experiences. Discover regional Victoria with options including wine touring and gourmet delights, visits to natural sights and charming towns. Or opt to visit cosmopolitan Melbourne and take in the soaring views from Melbourne Skydeck or enjoy free time to explore the city yourself
4 Day
- — Arrive Adelaide —
- As the train rolls into Adelaide, enjoy your last breakfast on board and the end of your Great Southern train journey

- Due to the space being quite limited, please provide 2-3 alternative days at the time of booking. The confirmed final date will be sent to you and displayed on the voucher
- Kindly be reminded that all off Train Experiences are subject to change and minimum and maximum capacity limits apply
- All off-train experiences are subject to weather, changes throughout the year, and may vary by season
- Any dietary, fitness, or mobility-related issues, along with any special requirements should be noted under the Requests & Remarks section at time of booking
- Please leave a valid mobile phone number at the time of booking, so Journey Beyond can contact you before and during your travels
- It is suggested to wear smart casual attire while travelling on the train
- Cabin luggage: For the comfort and safety of guests, it is recommended that an overnight bag (e.g. an airline cabin bag or roll-aboard carry-on luggage) is packed for use on the train, as well as the off-train experiences
- Checked luggage: 60 kg (2 x 30 kg) per person. Please note that they will not be accessible to you during the journey
- During the journey, the train will go through remote Australian regions, which sometimes result in severe weather events, such as flash flooding, bushfires, and may require remote location medical evacuations. It is highly recommended that passengers purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in the event of unforeseen circumstances

Please check-in at Hanworth House from 7: 00 to 8:45 am, the check in will closes at 8:45am
Please note there won't be any waiting policy. In an event of latecomers, Journey Beyond reserves the rights to leave without them and the ticket will be forfeited

Final Travel Documents will be sent to you or your travel agent 30 days before departure. Please have a printed or digital copy of these Travel Documents with you when you check in and throughout your journey. And please take some time to review the itinerary and check if all details are correct
The seat or cabin number will be provided to you upon check-in, which is assigned by the system in the weeks leading up to departure
Passengers should ensure that personal belongings such as medicine, cameras, hats, sunscreen, toiletries, enclosed footwear, etc. are packed in an overnight bag and that the items are enough for the number of days onboard
