Thundercat offers an exhilarating ride around the Whitsunday Islands all in one day. The three-time Australian Gold Award-winning tour visits the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet lookout and offers two snorkelling opportunities on the fringing Great Barrier Reef. Thundercat is designed for stability and speed, so it’s perfect for passengers concerned about seasickness.
The all-inclusive package departing from Airlie Beach is suitable for families, couples, and groups wanting to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Depart from the award-winning Coral Sea Marina at 9 a.m. and travel to Tongue Bay for a once-in-a-lifetime experience on Whitehaven Beach and a guided bush walk to Hill Inlet Lookout. Travel to the North end of Whitsundays Islands and explore the fringing Great Barrier Reef with two snorkels. Arriving back at Coral Sea Marina at approximately 5pm.

Due to the current global fuel market conditions, a temporary fuel surcharge of $13 per person applies to all new bookings for the Thundercat Day Tour and Purely Whitehaven Day Tour. This surcharge will be added at the time of booking and is reflected in your total price. We're keeping this as low as possible and will remove it as soon as fuel prices stabilise.

- Children one or under must have a baby carrier with a parent
- Children under two years old must be approved depending on weather conditions before departure and supply their lifejacket
- A ticket must be purchased for anyone 12 months and over
- Kindly be reminded that snorkelling requires fitness and average swimming ability. The skipper may refuse those who cannot swim or show signs of distress
- Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal items, and weather-related travel disruptions
- The menu is designed to accommodate most dietary needs, with complimentary vegetarian options available. However, it does not cater to vegan or halal diets. If needed, please bring additional food and snacks

Please arrive at the designated location 15 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
Please note there won't be any waiting policy. In an event of latecomers, the provider reserves the rights to leave without them and the ticket will be forfeited
Please reconfirm the bookings 48-72 hours before the tour
All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion
If weather is unsafe for the Outer Reef, the tour will move to the inner reef of the Great Barrier Reef, with snorkeling at the Whitsunday Islands’ fringing reefs and no refunds will be given in this case
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
