－ Team Introduction －
The Lioneers basketball team was co-founded by a group of entrepreneurs with backgrounds in the Hsinchu Science Park, brought together by their shared passion for sports. They hope that by establishing a local professional basketball team, they can become a positive force connecting Hsinchu and participate in the P.LEAGUE+ professional basketball league.
The Chinese name 'Hsinchu Lioneers' was inspired by the 'Zhubei Lioneers' from the comic 'Hoop Dreams'. We not only inherited the resilient DNA of the Hsinchu Science Park in our blood, but also hope to use the spirit of the 'Zhubei Lioneers' captain, Lao Mo, to remind ourselves: 'Regardless of winning or losing, give your all in every play.' We hope to inherit the resilient will of Hsinchu people and the Science Park, becoming a positive force that connects Hsinchu.
