A day tour often covers iconic landmarks such as Hohensalzburg Fortress, offering panoramic city views; Mozart's Birthplace and Residence; the charming Getreidegasse shopping street; Salzburg Cathedral; and the beautiful Mirabell Palace and Gardens, famous for its 'Sound of Music' connections. These sites provide a comprehensive overview of Salzburg's rich history and culture.

2. What is the primary language spoken in Salzburg, and is English commonly understood?

The primary language spoken in Salzburg is German, specifically the Austrian dialect.
