Our trip in mid-February didn't result in snowfall or snow accumulation in German Village as expected. However, the drive from downtown Seattle still offered stunningly beautiful white scenery. We initially thought there wouldn't be many people in our chartered car, but there were 13 of us that day. The car was clean and spacious, making for a comfortable ride. A $15 tip was expected for the driver, who was very attentive with the tour. On the return trip, he stopped at the ski resort for 15 minutes to take photos. We were lucky enough to witness a heavy snowfall – absolutely gorgeous! A truly unforgettable memory! However, to be honest, German Village is a place you'll regret not visiting, but also regret going to. There's not much to see and do! I wouldn't recommend staying overnight there, so I highly recommend chartering a car!
Using the Seattle CityPASS was a very worthwhile experience overall. The ticket price was much cheaper than buying individual tickets and saved time queuing on-site. I boarded the Space Needle to enjoy 360-degree views of the city and bay; admired the colorful glass art up close at Chihuly Garden and Glass; took an Argosy Cruises harbor cruise to enjoy panoramic views of the Seattle skyline from the sea; and visited the Seattle Aquarium and Seattle Art Museum. The trip was fulfilling and excellent value, highly recommended.
This pass was incredibly cost-effective during my trip to Seattle! If you're staying longer (the pass is valid for 9 days), I highly recommend buying the version that allows you to choose 5 attractions. The main reason I recommend it is the amazing price difference: • Great value for zoos: For example, tickets to Woodland Park Zoo, which we visited, would cost around NT$2,000 to NT$3,000 on-site, but with the pass, you get almost half price! You can use the money saved to enjoy Seattle seafood to your heart's content! • Novel experiences: Each attraction is unique and different from what you'd see in Taiwan. From the famous Space Needle to the various exhibitions, everything felt fresh and interesting, giving you a real sense of traveling abroad. • High flexibility: You don't need to decide where to go in advance; you can decide based on your energy and the weather, making it perfect for family trips. If it's your first time in Seattle, this pass requires almost no planning—just go to the attractions!
