As someone who frequently travels domestically, I felt this Shei-Pa trip was absolutely perfect. It's suitable for middle-aged and elderly people who are active, but it's also great for young people looking to relax. The vehicle is a small nine-seater, so taller people might find it a bit uncomfortable—that's the only minor drawback, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. We departed from Taipei, so the journey felt a bit shorter than the trip to Smakus, although the route was winding, but you can tolerate the travel time. The driver, Mr. Zhang, was very friendly, and the timing of our bathroom breaks was perfect. For accommodation, we stayed in a four-person cabin in a garden. It was incredibly clean, and because of the dry mountain air, the bathroom was completely free of mold. The space was large, and there was heating—much better than many mid-range accommodations in the city. There was a slight issue with the room upon check-in, but the switchboard responded immediately, which was very efficient, and the service was very friendly. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants were delicious; you could consider paying extra to try a Western meal. The Chinese restaurant is all-you-can-eat, and every dish is incredibly healthy and delicious, perfectly seasoned and flavorful – a true benchmark for healthy dining, surpassing 80% of the Chinese restaurants down the mountain, and it's also very affordable. The hot milk tea was incredibly comforting; it was a little sweet, but absolutely delicious. On March 14th, the young man who hosted the fruit vinegar show was quick-witted, created a great atmosphere, and explained the relevant information. Although I personally dislike sweet and sticky things, I still found the activity very enjoyable and made for a pleasant afternoon. I also hiked the Wild Horse Trail and the Cloud Trail with friends. On a sunny day, both are easy and flat hiking trails, perfect for a walk to digest before heading back to the Chinese restaurant. The flowers in the garden were also beautiful and large, showing the farm's dedication to its care. I absolutely loved Shei-Pa Farm, and I will definitely visit again.
The driver at the rear train station in the afternoon was very friendly. Passenger transport is very convenient, with direct routes to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Hopefully, there will be stations in Xinfeng or Hukou in the future.
The guided tours inside the museum are quite comprehensive and interactive. The ticket also allows you to redeem it for merchandise and meals inside (great!), making it a great choice for a weekend family outing! There are plenty of opportunities to win small gifts!
The service was excellent; they offered relaxation, tea and snacks, and even tea bag gift boxes. Thumbs up!
