New Community

I chartered a taxi with Ms. Vivian to take me around Taichung city and Gaomei Wetlands. She was very considerate of my elderly mother and even accompanied us to the ticket counters at tourist attractions; her service spirit was excellent. I don't speak fluent Chinese, but I enjoyed chatting with her. Even if you don't speak any Chinese, she can translate on her smartphone, so I think it's not a problem. I also communicated with the travel agency via LINE before the trip. I was having trouble getting bullet train tickets because it was during a long holiday weekend, but they gave me advice on being put on a waiting list and pointed out that I had booked a more expensive package with a different destination, showing great attention to detail. Thank you for a truly memorable trip!

For food in the park, we ordered the roasted half-chicken set meal and Mexican spicy chicken wings separately. The portions were quite large; two people couldn't finish them all. The meal included fries, rice, vegetables, soup, a drink, and fruit. The soup was a bit cold and solidified when we got it, which affected the texture, but the other seasonings were quite good. Joining the Forest Traveler program now also includes free park entry with a questionnaire and a birthday gift of lavender afternoon tea, which I really love!

An hour and a half passed quickly! The teacher was very nice! We had practice sessions before the actual experience; both the tofu pudding and tofu were delicious! Seeing the tofu take shape made me feel a real sense of accomplishment—I was a tofu master myself!

I'm from PH and it was my first time using KKday. It was a smooth transaction and user friendly app. Our guide and driver, Mr. Wang, was punctual, accommodating, and approachable. He's got a clean car and nice taste in music. He's friendly and a great photographer, too. Superb! It was a memorable trip in Taichung with my family.
