Lugu Township

The zoo has many animals, and the afternoon meal was plentiful. The only downside was that the zoo didn't clean up the animal droppings very often, so the smell was quite strong. Also, the sheep were covered in their own droppings.

There are many routes to explore, and they are all very beautiful! The occasional encounter with small animals will surely amaze children!

The Forget-Me-Not Forest Trail was steep and difficult to traverse, but thankfully my Singaporean friends in the same car helped me – thank you! It's a pity there was no water or reflections. The wisteria in the Cedar Creek had already faded, the peonies were past their prime, and the hydrangeas were still buds; it seemed I came at the wrong time. Luckily, there was a maple forest that was absolutely gorgeous in its red foliage!

We really enjoyed the mountain and bamboo forest tour. Our guide, Mr. Jiang, was fantastic and very helpful, taking photos for us and walking with us. We had a wonderful time. Lunch, a hot pot meal amidst the clouds and mist, was also very meaningful. Although it wasn't peak season for ginkgo trees, it was still a beautiful day.
