EVA Air's breakfast was fantastic! A great deal! However, I wanted to return to Taipei earlier that day, but the High Speed Rail ticket office couldn't change the time. I figured calling their customer service again wouldn't be enough time to resolve the issue.
We were very surprised by the amount of effort that went into designing the place. Lots of Easter eggs around if you looked hard enough. Plenty of shaded places to hide from the sun.
Who would have expected that we can do free fall, zip lining in an abandoned sugar refinery?
Perhaps there could have been a bit more ventilation for certain areas. It tend to get stuffy when the weather got hotter.
If you don't have the funds to fly to Egypt and the British Museum, thank you to the Chimei Museum for their hard work in securing this exhibition. Although KKDAY may not be cheaper, it allows for more specific confirmation of available dates and accumulated rewards, making it a more familiar and reassuring platform for purchasing various activities or tickets. However, I still recommend that those who want to calmly and carefully appreciate each exhibit avoid going on weekends! The crowd and flow of people were poorly arranged. For exhibits in the display cases, a bunch of people were just drifting in and cutting in line (but honestly, there wasn't a specific rule about queuing, so it's hard to say they were cutting in line). There were also people pushing and shoving, using their shoulders to twist and their bags to push others aside, just to see the exhibits. I really... can only say, "It's really rude!!!" I even had to pretend to lecture my child, saying, "Don't cut in line! Don't be rude and impolite." But I thought these kinds of people were rude and didn't care what others said. So, for those who love ArtJe and really want to see such a grand and meaningful exhibition, I suggest you spend an extra 1500 NTD on an ArtJe ticket, or go on a weekday. You'll thank yourself! I was even looking at the information plaque for a certain exhibit when a woman walked right up to me and pushed my child aside... What a jerk!!! If it weren't for the rule against making noise in the exhibition hall, I would have definitely confronted her. The worst part is that after she finished promoting it, she turned around and glared at me... Miss, honestly, my kids are more sensible than you!!! And she couldn't even see three seconds before taking a picture with her phone and walking away. Seriously, buying a ticket to see an exhibition doesn't make you superior. Please don't waste your money; go have a nice meal instead! In short, Chimei is really great! The exhibition is fantastic! But to truly experience and understand each exhibit, I think you'd need five or six hours! Then there's the VR experience my kids highly recommended. It's incredibly fun and well-made. Although I didn't see it this time, we're pressed for time after the VR experience, so I promised to bring them back on a weekday to just see the exhibition. I'll also make time on another weekday to see the remaining 3/4 of the exhibits by myself. It's only until January next year, so cherish this opportunity to get as close to these exhibitions as possible! This isn't just a strong recommendation; it's a high-quality exhibition that you can really enjoy. Anyone who loves history or Egypt should go immediately!!!
You can pick up your rental motorcycle at the self-service station right outside the high-speed rail station, without having to go back to the city center, and you can start your trip immediately. The rental motorcycles are also in good condition.
Our driver, Meimei, was incredibly kind and talkative. The car was clean and comfortable, and she drove very smoothly! 👍🏻 She took us to all the places we planned, and she even helped with the tours and recommended attractions, giving us a better understanding of the sights. My mom and I had a very satisfying and delightful trip! ❤️ Meimei also helped plan our itinerary for the following days. She was truly a wonderful person! ❤️
