Chai was our guide, excellent English with extensive knowledge of the area history. The trip itself was nice but weather did not cooperate at all. It was foggy and misty so much that felt like it was raining. Doi Inthanon and twin pagodas are always a nice visit if you’re in Chiang Mai. The water fall was also perfect in a way because of all the rain the area has been getting. The hike was nice but couldn’t see a thing at the top viewpoint. The hike was approximately two hours and mild climb of stairs, you can turn back if you don’t want to do the whole loop. It would have been a much better experience if the weather was better.
Our group of three signed up for the activity the morning before departure, and we were quickly confirmed to have an English-speaking tour guide. The tour was from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, so we didn't have to get up early to enjoy a rich and exciting itinerary. The guide explained everything clearly and responsibly, whether it was the waterfall or the Petronas Twin Towers. The lunch arrangement was particularly commendable. The roast chicken was delicious, and the guide even brought us another plate when he saw that we had finished our dishes, which was very thoughtful.
We booked a private car with driver to Mon Jam and had a great experience. Our driver, Alice, was wonderful—she arrived right on time, was warm and accommodating, and drove with care throughout the trip. The ride felt safe and comfortable, and she made the whole journey smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!
