The entire trip is very exciting and fun. Those prone to motion sickness are advised to take motion sickness medication beforehand, otherwise you may feel unwell. The driver is very skilled and will even drive close to the cliff face for a thrilling experience. The entire trip lasts about 20 minutes, with a fast-paced and efficient schedule, making it a highly recommended activity for adventure lovers and those seeking a sense of speed.
We arrived at the meeting point early in the morning and boarded the bus. The bus stopped at Te Anau along the way, where the driver introduced the sights and took us to special spots for photos, which was very convenient! When we arrived at the fjord, we were very lucky to have good weather. The journey to the boat took nearly 2 hours, and we also had a meal and saw penguins and seals. Although the journey was very long, it was a rare experience.
From registration to the safety briefing, everything was handled with meticulous care and friendliness. The staff were highly professionally dressed and repeatedly checked my equipment until just before boarding and until the very last moment of the jump. I felt incredibly reassured entrusting my safety to the instructor. I highly recommend purchasing the photography package; you might only ever jump like this once in your life, so why not capture that unforgettable moment? It's absolutely priceless.
