Taitung City

We had different drivers for the two days, so I can't guarantee everyone would be professional. However, I highly recommend our driver and guide, Xiao Wei, for today's trip. He was polite, friendly, professional, and patient. He explained a lot about Taitung along the way and interacted with the passengers appropriately, making the entire trip very rewarding and showing his love for Taitung. He managed the time very well and timed his tours perfectly. In the afternoon, when we were tired, he reduced the interaction accordingly. I think he's an experienced and excellent guide, and I hope to have the opportunity to travel with him in Taitung again next time. My two elders praised his professionalism highly. The food he recommended was also delicious! I highly recommend the Longitudinal Valley Line tour we took today. There were some changes to the itinerary, but the driver was very professional, so everything went smoothly.

Yesterday was a day of traffic jams and rain, but thank you to our driver for still taking us to many great attractions, such as Water Upward, Sanxiantai, Jinzun Recreation Area and Taiyuan Valley, etc. It was really great!

The warmth of Taitung was fully displayed by the staff at Kang Chiao Taitung Branch. I originally just wanted to grab a drink, but the evening snacks were so plentiful that I couldn't forget them. The crisp and sweet fruit, delicious aiyu jelly, braised pork rice that wasn't greasy at all, and mala tang were all delicious. The staff were also very enthusiastic in introducing each dish. I walked back to my room with my stomach about to burst, feeling so satisfied! I will definitely return for the evening snacks and the warm hospitality!

I didn't know you could buy hotel vouchers before, and it's very convenient. I'll consider booking rooms through KKday from now on.
