Every time I visit South Korea, besides Seoul, I always try to include some longer trips to experience more of the country's unique scenery. This time, we visited Jeonju, a place I'd never been before. Our guide, Ahua, provided a very detailed introduction to Jeonju's history and culture from the very beginning. After we arrived, he continued to guide us through the history and origins of the various attractions, even sharing many interesting anecdotes. The children had a wonderful day, and the adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend everyone visit Jeonju.
Our tour guide, Cui Cui, is fluent in both Chinese and English and can provide audio explanations to fellow travelers in both languages. She also manages the time effectively. Because Jeonju is quite far from Seoul, a day trip is limited by time constraints and doesn't allow for a full exploration of the entire city, but it saves older travelers the hardship of long journeys. The route from the parking lot to the cable car on Daetonsan Mountain, as well as the path from the cable car stop to the suspension bridge, is all uphill. The cable car ride from the summit to the suspension bridge is particularly steep and winding; participants should consider their physical condition and age before taking this tour.
