The day trip covered five attractions, which would be impossible to do on your own. The visit to Lake Yamanaka is especially recommended. Our guide, Vivian, was also very helpful and provided excellent service.
Surprisingly, only six of us set off. Our guide/driver (?) was incredibly helpful, providing excellent service throughout the journey, introducing the scenery of Mount Fuji, and constantly chatting with us. When it was time to return to the city, he enthusiastically recommended local restaurants. We were so lucky to be on a small group tour, so we didn't have to worry about too many people. And it was perfect timing that our driver was Taiwanese! 😝 Fantastic! 🥹
We were lucky with the weather and saw Mount Fuji! Our guide, Keiko, was very attentive and kind. 😁 All the group members came from various countries, and the guide explained things in both Chinese and English. The itinerary was quite tight; for example, the five-story pagoda requires a 20-minute climb, and it's very crowded with people, so there's not much time. Those who want to take good photos should be physically fit! 🤣 Lunch wasn't included, but we were taken to a restaurant arranged by the travel agency. The guide didn't pressure us.
The meeting point was a bit chaotic (there were too many tour guides), and the time allotted for the attractions was a little too short, which was a bit of a shame. Tour guide Jin Liping was gentle and humorous; highly recommended!
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip, especially our guide. She managed the group exceptionally well and even shared fascinating legends about Mount Fuji. The itinerary was fantastic, covering most of the major attractions. I wholeheartedly recommend this package to anyone wanting to experience Mount Fuji. It's reasonably priced, and group tours save a significant amount of money compared to independent travel.
