I visited Hokkaido as a solo female traveler this month. Since I really wanted to visit Syakotan cape and Otaru I chose this one-day bus tour. There were 8~9 other people with me from China, Japan and Spain.I had requested a Japanese guide but I think since the majority were Chinese customers, the driver/guide(same person) was a Chinese man who spoke a decent Japanese. He was kind enough to guide us non-Chinese speakers in Japanese as much as possible. A thumbs up for his effort! Unfortunately , due to the bad weather, we couldn’t ride the boat but kkday promised us to return the money they had took initially for the boat fare. Also when we reached at the Shakotan misaki we got to know that the narrow road to the end of cape where a light house stood was closed until feb 2025!other than that everything was great! the bus was a minivan actually and was fairly comfortable. Recommended!
